Parkovia is a neutral discovery platform and review archive for Minecraft themeparks. This page explains what information we collect, how it's used, and the choices you have. Structured data. Plain language. No surprises.
We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of Parkovia, and limited technical data needed to keep the platform running.
Information is used to operate, maintain, and improve Parkovia, and to keep the index, rankings, and reviews accurate and trustworthy.
Parkovia uses a small number of cookies to keep the site functional. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell browsing data.
Essential cookies handle session login and remember basic preferences such as your last-viewed tag filter. Analytics cookies, where enabled, are used only in aggregate to understand overall traffic to park profiles and rankings - never to build individual advertising profiles.
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only in the following limited circumstances:
When you submit a park for listing, the information you provide - including park name, tags, server details, descriptions, and screenshots - is treated as content intended for publication and will be displayed publicly on the relevant park profile, in category pages, and in ranking charts.
Any private contact information submitted alongside a listing (such as a personal email for editorial follow-up) is used only by our editorial team and is not published.
We retain account information for as long as your account remains active.
Park ratings are not tied to an account. The rating itself, and a one-way hashed version of the IP address used to submit it, are kept for as long as the park listing exists - this hash is what stops the same visitor from rating a park more than once, so unlike ordinary server logs it isn't purged on a fixed schedule. You can ask us to remove a specific rating at any time via the contact details below.
Server logs and other technical data - including hashed IPs used for submission rate-limiting - are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes, after which they are deleted or aggregated.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address listed below.
Parkovia is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it.
We use industry-standard safeguards - including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls - to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. No system is completely secure, and we encourage users to choose strong, unique passwords.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. The "Effective Date" above indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of Parkovia after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have questions about this policy, want to exercise your data rights, or need to report a concern, our team is reachable directly.
